Registration and Reservation

   RESERVATIONS:  To maximized the quality of your adventure, we limit our groups to 12 participants.
SPACE IS LIMITED; Please book your trip as early as possible.

   DEPOSIT: A 20% deposit reserves you one spot on our trips.
Full amount is due as follows:
1) 60 days prior to departure on trips which do not include air charter.
2) 90 days prior to departure on trips which do include air charter.
Any reservations made within 60 days from departure (90 days on whale watching trips which include air charter) requires full payment.

   PAYMENTS  may be personal check, money order or, wire transfer payable to Miramar Adventures LLC.
If you’d like to pay with Visa or Master Card, we accept convenience checks which you can obtain from your credit card company. Convenience checks act just like a credit card charge on your account, but allows us to keep your trip cost lower.

   CANCELLATION POLICY:  All cancellations must be submitted in writing. If you have a replacement or we have one waiting on the list, then the penalties are not applicable.
    Because part of the funds are committed well before your departure, refunds are as follows::

1) For trips which do not include air charter:
  • Cancelling 60 days or more before departure -- full refund, less $100 handling fee.
  • Cancelling 59-31 days bfore departure -- a 50% refund.
  • Cancelling 30 days before departure -- non-refundable.

2) For trips which include air charter:

All cancellations processed 90 days or more prior to departure will be refunded in full less the trip deposit amount.
Cancellations made 90 days or less prior to departure cannot be refunded for any reason.

Miramar Adventures reserves the right to change an itinerary or cancel any trip due to: acts of nature, weather, equipment failure, insufficient registration, or any unforeseen problems. In the event Miramar Adventures cancels a trip, clients will be offered either a transfer to another comparable trip, or credit towards a future trip. There are no cash refunds.
Miramar Adventures is not responsible for any other trip preparation expenses i.e. airline tickets or hotel charges.

   TRAVEL INSURANCE: We understand the disappointment of having to cancel your trip, however we, on our end must send non-refundable payments to our suppliers of transportation, permits, boat owners and other vendors in order to guarantee your space on our trips. Therefore, Miramar Adventures strongly recommends you purchase travel insurance to protect your vacation investment in the eventuality of cancellation due to weather, airline or other transportation delays, sickness, or any situation beyond our control.

Both are industry leader with an outstanding reputation for service; You can select the individual coverages for: medical, trip cancelation, medical evacuation, and baggage loss, all for which Miramar Adventures assumes no responsibility.

   THE NEXT STEP:    Upon receipt of your RESERVATION FORM along with your payment, we will send you the following:

  • Invoice/Confirmation of your reservation.
  • A complete list of what you'll need to bring and travel information.
  • Medical questionnaire.
  • Liability release form, which must be signed and returned before participation in any Miramar vacations.
